And right as Overwatch is having a resurgence in popularity on Twitch due to the Ana Bastet event too.
Actually I’m not sure if Garry’s mod has some sort of Twitch drops going on, but it’s got more viewers than Overwatch on Twitch at the moment, which makes no sense.
Only explanation seems to be they’re doing some Twitch promotion/loot as well.

Didn’t some streamers left this game and Contenders turned into sleep Goats mode? I wouldn’t be suprised if people don’t watch OW that much as it used to be
In Gary’s Mod, exciting new things can happen. In Overwatch, one hour of play looks like any other hour of play.
Twitch literally only has viewers to get drops right now. I got on to get my Ana skin and that’s al I wanted. They are also getting beat out by the “just chatting” streams too lol.
This game has dropped very hard in entertainment with big name streamers leaving and this being such a boring meta to watch.
It has more viewers because little kids like it and little kids have time to watch streams adults don’t.
Gmod is way more interesting to watch IMO. So much more stuff to do.
Overwatch on its own…is pretty boring to just watch. It doesn’t really have good or entertaining personalities behind it.
Because Garrys mod have more people messing around on streams
When in overwatch, there is nothing interesting to do on streams, and pro plays are boring. OWL as example.
Yt videos are funny tho, thats all good for overwatch.
This makes me think I should stream my Gmod city that I built and populated with Xenomorphs.
