You know for all the bad things that happened in the last two weeks. (There been a lot)
I am surprised Gamescon specific leaks wasn’t one of them.
Though we seem to encounter almost everything else.
Closest thing we go was “new content” leak on the schedule but we all knew that was a thing anyway.

I would not view a leak as a “bad” thing. Honestly, I want it just to figure out what the content is already. I lack patience, however, so that might just be me. It would be nice to confirm or deny that “they have something big planned and that is why they are ignoring us” theory.
I heard Jeff’s doing a thing in South Korea. Makes me wonder if the gamescom announcements are major or not.

“New content” better not be another hero origins story cinematic. I’d love to have lore for D.Va, Lucio etc. But the story needs to start move forward. The origin stories can be told by comics imho.

Starting to feel like the D. Va Trailer is too obvious… wait wasn’t there a leak in the past about a D. Va/ Lucio Trailer
Probably a fake leak. People have been guessing D.Va/Lucio for awhile, before we got Rein at least because the Mei leak was part of the confirmed Orisa leak. It is just not that hard to predict one of the two characters who got nothing would get something. That being said, while it is a bit too obvious, I feel like it would be a bit of a slap in the face at this point to do virtually anything else unless they secretly wanted to release an additional character which would be highly unprecedented.
Watch it be a new deathmatch map and a system where you can select 5 other people per day and get bonus coins or lootboxes when you play with them every 5 matches or so. Then the D.Va video is shown in that Korean event.
Or an even more disappointing scenario is if they outline what they might plan to do next year, lol.
