Guys, the game says that theres a big difference between ranks with a friend, so the game won’t let us play together. Last year we had the same issue. Any ideas? I really want to play
I think it tries to use your rank from regular competitive to determine whether or not you can play with your friends in Copa Lucioball, so if your friends are more than 1000SR apart in normal comp, you won’t be able to play Copa together. I’ve been having this issue too, really dumb that it happens. I’m not too sure if this problem solves itself when placements are done.
Lucio ball is awful this year so you won’t lose too much hehe.

I was really trying to be helpful. I mean sorry if you think i was just kidding, but having in mind how disgraced is the mode now… well it can help to know that, to not play it with your friend.

You should still be able to play the regular and remix modes right? It’s just Copa Lucioball that’s like this

We have a similar issue. Ours seems to be using the open queue ranking and won’t let us play. We’ve been playing Copa Lucioball for years as a team 
this happened to one of my friends, we couldn’t queue together for placements yet we were in the same game in half of the placements anyway.
