Game starts in Windowed mode

Game starts in windowed mode rather than in fullscreen mode despite always playing in fullscreen mode.

Not a huge problem, but has occurred regularly for quite some time. Can the dev team look in to whatever causes this bug?

Start game, change in settings back to full mode, exit save. Close game. start again, same thing, make sure its in full mode, close and exit game. start again and should stay in full mode for a long time, instead of reverting to windowed…

It does for a while, but eventually it reoccurs. It is obviously a coding issue.

not necessarily. settings must be saved in files outside the game executable. for example in a text file. ur operating system might be interfering with this process (its not its a coding issue with the file being overwritten with the incorrect values, prolly on shutdown, but still, there COULD be other issues).

That happens to me as well, I think it might be Nvidia Experience changing the settings of the game.

It’s an .ini file, but it keeps reverting to windowed.

what cpu, what gpu, what operating system, with driver info on hardware.

if u want to report a bug do it right.

As long as you are happy with all your settings you can change the config file to Read Only and the problem won’t happen. I’ve had to do that with other games in the past. It just sucks if you forget to make it writable in the future if you change something lol

Also experiencing this issue. Usually just press “Alt+Enter” to go full screen.

Also, isn’t there some feedback forum/technical issues for this instead of General Discussion?
