Persistent issue for the past week. Loading screen is stuck on “Game server connection failed…retrying” and loops repeatedly. I’ve flushed the DNS, reinstalled, log out of the account/logged back in, hard restarted the computer, updated drivers, closed literally everything except battle.net, scanned and repaired the game multiple times, changed regions, etc. I’ve poured over all the threads with this issue and tried it all. My internet connection is great, I’ve tested that ad nauseum and played other games online just fine. At a loss on what to do. It has to be on Blizzard’s side at this point.

I’m also having this issue.
I get a loading screen that cycles between “Connecting to Game Server…” and “Game Server Connection Failed… Retrying” each time I try to start Overwatch. I’ve tried reinstalling the game through steam, installing through Battle.net, restarting my computer, power cycling my router, shutting down my computer and turning it back on, verifying the integrity of the files, signing out of battle.net and signing back in on both web and battle.net launcher, checking for updates (even though I know there is no update right now), and something with command prompt that came up on Google (probably the DNS thing you mentioned). None of these have influenced the loading screen. Hoping this gets fixed.
It just fixed on its own??? I’ve been opening it regularly to check for the past three days, but now it suddenly works.
I’m also having this bug, it happened twice and I was banned for 15 minutes.
