So here i am trying to get a game, where i can play and not try super hard to get a win. It goes like this. “Alright im in silver, cool. Forget comp, no one is trying or really understands the game down there. Alright lets go to quick play, oh what my hidden rating is so high i play with plats, people with diamond and gold portraits people in general much higher ranked than I. Alright FINE! Lets do deathmatch, i almost got into platinum that one day i played competitve deathmatch gotta be easier.” joins game everyone is diamond-GM and yesterday got a top500 on his alt account. Seriously fix the way you group people in general. OR Allow map choices so its not so instantly tilty when you log on. Between the sound lag and not being ale to play in a fair matchup, im about to just stop playing all together. Did the same thing with wow in WOTLK, get complaints all day from the community, and u continue to screw it up because what blizzard wants is more important then listening to people playing the actual game. Screw u.

Damn bro your hidden rating is so high, must make that qp life reallly tough, i feel really bad for you not getting “good” games in arcade and qp even though you dont want to try hard to win.
So your not committed to try hard in comp but then complain when you lose, + you feel like your teammates lack knowledge and team play , yet you have a private profile. You are part of the "competitive is garbage " .
And that is why you dont do drugs and type on the forums. No one can see thier MMR , yes you can roughly work it out by seeing the amount of SR you gain and lose , but your delusional thinking its “high” .
Is this consistent across your experience in the game or just recent?
I made a post about the same thing. Every single match I’ve played today has been 100% one-sided. Mostly losses on my side though. Last week when I played, everything was completely normal, now every match is excruciating to play, toxic as all hell, and all the banter and jokey chat I used to see is completely gone. Out of a probable total of about 30-40 quick play matches today, I’ve won a grand total of FIVE matches.
That’s not normal.
You could not convince me in any capacity that that is normal.
I think there is something severely wrong with the mmr matchmaking outside of competitive right now and devs aren’t saying anything.
When I am losing a lot in QP I just don’t bother anymore and go setup a costum server to train mechanics/aim against bots or something.
Don’t keep going if you’re on a losing streak, do something else, try arcade or setup a costum server and train.
I face gm and masters in quick when i am plat BUT i dont have the level of a gm or a master…

I don’t think there is anything new about it. I been put with players who are plat-masters in QP.
Lots of high tier and T500 warm up in arcade. The matchmaking is much less restricted to keep the queue time short and the player pool they are drawing for is smaller. As a result (and especially outside peak time) I often encounter Diamond to high masters and occasionally gm. I’ve seen a couple people who have been T500 before (I’ve added a couple) though never a current T500. I’ve seen masters and silver in the same game.
It’s not meant to be super competitive. Just fast and fun. I kinda like playing those super good players even though I invariably get stomped. If you don’t like it never bother with something like a widow head shot lobby. Some of the players in those are disgusting haha
I’m low plat too, I don’t know and/or really care who I get placed with or against. But a 5/35 win/loss ratio is not normal and its not okay.
It’s not like I all of a sudden crippled my ability to play the game, in fact in the majority my matches, I was one of the top players on my team. It’s not as simple as “git gud, try next time,” this is consistency, this is a pattern, and there is something wrong.
Edit: And what about the chat too? The majority of my matches as early as a week ago were all very high-spirited, and not once in my entire day did I encounter anything like I used to. It’s all toxicity, BM, and people telling me to stuff it because I don’t know what I’m talking about and just need to get good at the game because I suck and stop complaining because they didn’t have it happen to them so it couldn’t possibly have happened at all. It’s nonsense, bullcrap, and it sucks to be involved in. It’s legit just bullying at that point.
nope pretty committed to try hard in comp, its everyone else thats not, thats the problem. Not sure if you played in low gold or silver, but its mostly just people saying they dont want to try or switch and dont care at all thats why they are down there, and if you say anything even nicely they start hard throwing. Since I cant put loads of people on my avoid list any more I am are forced to play with the same dumb idiots over and over. My QP are either snowballs or complete wipes. It shouldnt feel like im playing comp, in qp, there isnt enough variation between the two, people take it just as serious and it isnt fun. If you could pick map type(not the map just the type), people in general would be able to improve at the game in qp, and enjoy playing it more because we would finally be able to do what we want with the product we bought. Instead of having two of exactly the same mode just one has a visible number to rank you while the other is hidden. Kinda bs tbh. People in my qp games are much better than my comp games, and my deathmatch games > everything. Dont really play other modes they are dumb.
