After the Season 4 update, the game is launched and stuck at an indication of “Playing Now”. Please advise.

same, tried reinstalling game/drivers/clearing game cache/clearing game settings, nothing. Was working before the update.

still cant find a fix. game refuses to load and i tried everything everyone else tried but no luck.
ok wait hold on. I think I found a fix. First I loaded up overwatch then i got the glitch and the game froze. I then waited a while and then disconnected my computer from the wifi, reconnected it, the game asked me to sign in and i did. and this time while loading the game actually put me in the menu
I had the same problem, it worked after I logged out and logged back in to Battle.net

Tried reinstalling, signing out and signing back in, launching as admin, disabling antivirus, praying. Nothing worked.
Hi! I was experiencing the same issue and tried the solutions provided but none of them worked for me. What worked for me is logging out and then changing my server from Americas to Asia before logging back in. I also chose Asia as server before launching the game. Hope this helps!
Having the same issue. Please fix Blizzard! 
I tried the fixes mentioned here in the forums. I logged out and was in Asia server. I changed my server to Americas and relogin. Helped.
So glad I can’t get into the game when I actually have time to play. Same issue as the original post. Nothing works.

This is a weird fix but the game launches if you install a second language pack.

When using Windows 11 to analyze the wait chain by task manager, it says overwatch.exe is in a deadlock. please help fix.
Replying to bump this thread back up because I am also still having this issue. Three times now it’s happened and I’ve had to look up and try various fixes until one works. Fix it Blizzard!
