Hi,
Had this issue for a while now where my game will completely freeze (usually after about 10-20 min of gameplay) but the sound will keep playing normally. Can’t tab out of the game nor ctrl+alt+delete, only way to fix is to hard restart PC. A few times it has gone to error “rendering device has been lost”.
This only ever happen in OW2… I’ve tried a fresh install, fresh windows install, rollback to different gpu drivers and bios drivers. Nothing works.
I’m at a loss.
Please help.

Nope, at least not the gpu.
Did you do any of the other steps??
Only thing there that I could do is run a memory test, everything else is already done.
My game has also been going to a black screen with the overwatch cursor while I can still hear the audio being played the only difference is I can alt tab and close the game after a little bit to get a crash report or I can close it in task manager and it skips the crash report but I can only play the game for around 5-8 hours before it crashes mid game and forces me to leave games and it’s really annoying to have to tell my friends I have to relaunch the game to prevent it from crashing I haven’t figured out how to fix it either
I think it’s a sign of the game dying! Tooooo many issues. I’m on Xbox and have been loosing connection to the server in the last 1hr 4 times and keep getting banned for 9 min. It crap!
Blizzard fix your issues and I’m sure it’s always check you connection and this and that but look at issues first as this is not an independent connection issue this is a game issue. I’m over it!
