Game keeps crashing

I don’t know why Overwatch keeps crashing. I load up the game and sit in the main menu for about 10–20 seconds, then it crashes. I would send an image of the error screen I’m met with if i could, but there is no option to attach images. Sometimes I’d get into a game, and right before it started, it would crash. I’ve tried everything you can think of. I’ve followed several YouTube videos, Reddit posts, forums, read Overwatch and Battle.net support, updated my graphics drivers, ran Windows updates, and scanned for malware. I’ve done it all. I have zero idea what it could be, and every time I try something new, I think I’ve solved the problem, just to load up the game and have it crash before the queue even finishes. If anyone is able to figure it out I will be eternally grateful.

If you want to try troubleshooting with fellow players, provide a system diagnostic file for review.

Click here to show/hide the instructions

There is some info missing. For instance, no drives are showing up in the report. There are also no errors, but you said the game is crashing? Even if no error pops up, there would be some error info in the DxDiag.

I followed the steps, but I can do it again if you’d like. There is a chance i did it wrong

Has a crash happened since you last rebooted?

Yes it still crashes. I found out i can open the game, but if i sit in main menu too long it crashes. Once im in a game its fine, and it doesnt crash while im actually playing

If you have a report that includes all of the system info I’ll take a look, otherwise I can only recommend a local PC tech as your next step.

just to clarify, all i did was go to dxdiag, saved all info, made document, went in and copied and pasted to pastebin, then copied link and put it in here. if something is missing this time, then i dont know what im doing wrong. ------------------System Information------------------ Time of this r - Pastebin.com

Display Topology: Extend

Extending the display from a laptop to an external monitor is known for causing crashes.

Description: Voicemeeter Out 5 (VB-Audio Voicemeeter VAIO)

Second, I recommend disabling Voice Meeter in your devices.

Card name: Meta Virtual Monitor

Third, disconnect any peripheral devices with screens.

There are no errors in this report to evaluate.
