i mean for me ow1 was better then ow2 is now. the game had more structure and teamplay. todays gameplay is very simple. you healbot your tank and hope that your oneshot dps are better then the enemys. in ow1 you had to communicate to break a point or how to engage, you had to play around your ults etc. now its just like an invinite arcade game without depth and it gets boring super fast. 2 games a day for me and i am done.

50 million players and yet the devs cannot come up with fair games on any elo.
When your casual game is hated by casuals thats how you know ura garbage dev.

yes and don’t try stupid things that nobody asked for that even a person who never played the game knows are bad
However knowing that the OW1 teams is full of self proud and never admits mistakes nor reverts anything you can expect that nothing will change until the money stops coming.

5v5 today is easy to play arcade style. if they wanted a game thats more casual easy to play where you log in from time to time, play a few games buy a skin then they succeeded. if ist good for the long term dunno. many streamers quit the game, i play sign. less. playercount isnt public but it feels small. what we lost is hero balance, structure, synergys, competitive aspect. maybee this part that got lost can be added back to the game in another mode. but the question is do they want that. isnt the goal to make an easy game with a bigger smartphone like playerbase.
Unfortunately, you are screaming into a void. Most people will pretend that 5v5 is fine and better no matter how incorrect they are. They’ll also ignore any and all real evidence that the game despite being free to play now is not doing anything close to what it should in numbers by comparison to other F2P games. They’ll then make up some bs excuse as to why it’s not performing well but won’t accept that the main reasons are 5v5, RQ, heroes being paid for/bought, the monetization, and at least 10 other things.
But magically none of those issues are real and if you believe they are real you will be gaslit and called crazy, to mald or quit, or that you’re somehow wrong for believing the game is and was more fun previously.

Match I just had. Hanzo didnt fall back. died in the 1 v 5

our ana then proceeds to complain about me and say I am throwing. I switch from Cass to Reaper and start poping off. We are spawn camping. Moira decides to go full DPS, sub 4k healing while ana has 9k. Cant make that work. I am literally infront of our moira at 20HP and she will not heal me. They say I am throwing in team chat. WTF is wrong. Please stop grouping me up with 12 year olds.

That is still their, just not 100% required anymore. That and the heavy teamwork focused mode of 2cp got booted out of the game.
Pulled an orisa tracer ult combo a got a nice quad kill, grav dragon is still a thing.
Focusing dive targets with d.va/tracer/genji does still work.
Using mei and orisa/zarya ults still do their job.
And now that Ping is a thing, selecting targets for focusing is a breeze.
Mercy and ana have unique ones for rez/sleep to give heads on both.
While JQ/rien benefit heavily from a lucio speed boosting them.
And Open que has all the classic tank playstyles, as their rather interchangeable with dps at the moment.
Team building is still a really strong factor. It’s just the base QP low rank modes can function and are not reliant on randoes communicating and layering abilities.

It would be just as questionamark, if not worse. Because you change the balance (again)
