Gg guys. The only thing we can do is wait
We tried but didnāt change anything
I really hope that until next week they fix it
I mean I probably triple checked the few displayed options, iām not used to be sure of anything, but I can tell that thereās nothing about HT in bios.
Ended up tweaking CPU affinity to only use physical cores, but I crashed anyway after 20 seconds playing with 30fps.
Stay positive and be patient folks
oh man. iām sorry. iām sure there is a solution out there.
our best hope right now is to get them to optimize it. i hope they do.
if you guys can. make noise on Aaron Keller and Overwatchās twitter. i dnāt see enough complaints there regarding the core issue
Me too! But only time will say it
this issue is happening from the beta and they didnt fix already so i dont put hope on this.
The game began to hang tightly after 2-5 minutes of the game, lowering-increasing the graphics does not help in any way, sometimes it happens that they can play 1-2 matches without a dead freeze, but everything freezes then and it turns out to close only through the task manager. Computer: GTX 1660 6 GB, RAM 8 GB, Intel pentium G5500 processor, Gigabyte B360M D2V motherboard
Weāre reporting and this thread became huge. Theyāll notice us, just wait!
No worries, tried my best for 15-ish hours after release, now Iāve resigned myself and am just waiting for a fix that will probably eventually come.
i created a thread 2 days ago about winston crashing in the training room repeatably, i mean if your crashing a training room which has no enemy online players, i.e this is the minimium bar of complexity here then what hope do you have of ingame
I submitted 3 dxdiag reports with details
2 prior to yesterdays update and 1 post update.

Also core i3 goes back along way, and then there core i3 desktop and mobility these vary.
In addition the language of the request i get it the games dynamically evolving currently minimum i3 given the legacy of intel very slow development of 4-7th gen and 7th to 9th gen, means I suspect you havenāt decided which i3 gen are.
From observation on intel drivers i see they are archiving drivers sets from 6-9th gen. as they move with there Xe line products from 11-12th and maybe some 10th as being actively supported from intels on there own products.
for people in this thread who may need to upgrade I wouldnt buy a pre 10th gen intel used or otherwise imho
(Note intels latest graphics drivers buddle for 12th gen and Xe has overwatch 2 listed in the driver details if your going to get a new mb and a new new cheap cpu 12th gen i3 or i5 i think these min 6 core 12 thread.)
Given that this is a esports title alot of users now game on mobility platform also highly mobile people want flexibility and on a power consumption vrs cost of living crisis laptops with dedicated gpu are more cost efficent.
I hope that blizzzard as a company adds a mobility requirement column to its min recomended and maximium settings in the future. because the request for a i3 reminds me of old thinking of desktop gaming pcs. and there are alot of mobilty users in this thread.
maybe as a forum agent open a new thread for i3 mobility customers and keep this thread as i3 desktop. or since this is a mega thread start from scratch creating 2 new threads.
tried threads -3 on and it lastest around 6.42 mins on training range imma give updates low-med graphic fps cap 120 now imma try 60 fps and let u guys know!
I know everyone is repeating the same thing about the supported CPUs, but I am so sad that my pentium has been totally fine in OW1, I ran the game in 90+ fps, almost no lags, no crashes, everything went smoothly and now in OW2 I MIGHT not be able to play at all suddenly because they donāt support it? This is so so sad⦠I will probably upgrade my PC if there wonāt be any fixes for the next monthā¦
Stop selling unfinished products half a year before release and offer a limited technical preview of the game for everyone so users can make an informed decision if and how well the game will perform on their system. The limited scope of beta testing just doesnāt cut it.
OW2 surprisingly runs upwards of 40% better on my outdated mid-tier machine and I donāt even understand how they managed to pull that off (before crashing lol), where it could have also been the complete opposite, a badly optimized product that performs so poorly it isnāt enjoyable to play. I didnāt have the convenience of trying as many others, because game access was heavily limited and prioritized to camgirls who would promote the game for free. What I do know is that they were aware of this issue since early June.
okay so my fix for eome reason the higher the graphic that i usw the better it runs for somw reason
I feel like they just didnāt care about the beta issues, of course they probably fixed some of them but they were really calm about them. And now that the game is out to the whole world they are in a rush trying to fix every single bug and problem that has occured, basically every single aspect of the game was somehow bugged at the launch
i am also concerned even from 8th gen and below.
mostly because I donāt believe intel want to support those architectures anymore, If there is a problem cpu hand off to gpu and you go to intel with a problem I dunno what support they want to blizzard with that.
Intel want to enter the graphics space and since 11th gen they been pretty clear and driving inovation to compete with amd ryzen and grow a gpu business they are harmonising all support arround the 11-12th gen from the intel driver support i see at the moment.
what resource they want to give on older pre 9th gen chipsets i suspect is none from intels side not blizzard.
i.e imagined conversations
blizzard- so yeah we have alot of pre 9th gen customers who have issues and there may issue we have all these dxdiags ā¦
intel:- let me stop you there i be frank with install the latest drivers from us and if it doesnt work you tell them to buy new stuff.
Same for me, Ultra settings with 60 fps ran perfectly, I tried to increase my fps but it crashes.
