Hello, ever since i updated Overwatch, it started freezing. First, it froze in the main lobby, and it wouldn’t let me end the program. Then after a couple of restarts, it stopped freezing in the main lobby and instead froze when loading the map. I updated my Windows, i did the scan and repair option in battle.net, i reinstalled the game, i closed unnecessary programs in task manager, i cleaned up my computer but nothing worked. Instead now the game freezes as soon as i click play. It says entering game and it freezes there.
Also, i had no problems with the game whatsoever prior to the latest update.

Did The Same things you did.
I Dont think its a sistem problem tho cuz i have a frend on a way lower power laptop that can run the game fine so i dont know what the prolbme is

I checked, i don’t I have connection issues. It’s not that the game isn’t loading in, it’s that it freezes and is unresponsive. I haven’t experienced these issues prior to the latest update

i have another person in the house with me that can open overwatch fine so its not a wifi problem.

Hey, i managed to fix the problem by reseting the overwatch settings to default, so make sure to try that, hopefully it solved the problem long - term
