Game freezes for half a second every so often

Hi guys,

I came across this thread: Game freezes for half a second every so often which seems to be the exact problem to what I am having, although having trouble finding the solution. Basically my game is having a half a second stutter every 4 or 5 seconds which effects the gameplay - sound is fine, it is just the gameplay being affected.

I have changed some graphic settings, verified the files and uninstalled and reinstalled the game which did not fix at all.

PC is absolutely fine, i7-10700K with a Nvidia Geforce RTX 3070. Feels like this issue has only come up around 4-5 weeks ago and was fine before.

This is the only cause for concern in the DxDiag. It’s the audio driver crashing, which will cause lockups. You could try seeking out a newer version/reinstalling. Beyond that, check your temps with HWMonitor. Maybe you’re hitting some throttle points.
