Game doesn't fit the screen

Hello I formatted my PC and for some reason Overwatch now has its corners outside the screen

I have the same graphics driver as I did before format

Did you backup your original files from your Documents folder on Windows? If so a file for Overwatch from your old PC may be interfering.

  1. Open your Documents folder for your user account on Windows.
  2. In the Documents folder, look for the folder labeled Overwatch and open it.
  3. In the Overwatch folder, look for the folder labeled Settings and open it.
  4. In the Settings folder, look for a file labeled Settings_v0.ini and delete that file.
  5. Restart Overwatch, if you are successful, the Winston “Are you with us?” Cinematic should start playing before connecting to the game.

See if the problem is still occuring.

I didn’t backup the folder in documents, but I backed up the game folder

The game software typically in stored in Program Files x86? At this point do a full clean out and reinstall from scratch.

It’s installed in the D:/ on a completely other hard drive, I’ll try reinstalling it and see what happens

If possible strongly consider installing it on the same drive as your operating system. It’s not required, but you are more likely to have fewer problems in overall performance if you can.

unfortunately it’s not possible in my case I have 120GB SSD as the system drive, So I try to not put anything big or unimportant

That’s fine, its more or less a recommendation. If you have more problems, continue to report back.

Hello, I fixed the problem, I’ll put it here if anyone has the same problem,
The problem turned to be that my monitor refresh rate was set to 59hz instead of 60hz, And Since I chose 1920x1080 60 as the resolution of the game that might overclocked the monitor I’m not sure causing the conflict
