Game does not run smoothly

I’ve spent a lot more time than I’m willing to admit scouring the Overwatch forums trying to solve this problem I’ve been having. I recently upgraded to a new laptop with some much beefier specs exceeding overwatches reccomended requirements. my frames in Overwatch will sit at 60 for a while and then drop down to 50 whenever a bullet is fired, or just randomly while i’m sitting and doing nothing. The game just constantly alternates between being as smooth as possible and dropping down all the way to 40 fps during a team fight. At this point I think it’s a hardware problem because I’ve tried practically every little adjustment I could find on this forum to make my game consistently smooth. I’ve updated every driver I could, disabled the xbox thing, disabled high precision event time, set the maximum processor state to 99, I could go on and on. So yeah, that’s where I am right now any help would be appreciated.

I don’t think your hardware is the problem. Since the “Ashe Update” a lot of people are having Frame drop problems (including me). Still waiting for a fix.

I’m still waiting for Blizzard to acknowledge it as a problem.
