since the new seasson update some weeks ago the game suddenly crashes directly after start sometimes i get into the game. As soon i open escape interface or enter a loading screen it crashes. I clean installed everything from new all my drivers, I basically set my pc up from a new. I found a forum where someone might have found hints to the issue please see below:
Also since the new driver update i installed it creates crash reports:
B892EAC0-F251-45CC-BAA6-0598F7DB814C
My CPU is at standard Settings as given by Intel. Not overclocked.
GPU has the newest driver installed. 552.44
Windows is up to date.
if you need further ones i can repeatly start overwatch and send them.
Aswell i can upload my msinfo and dxdiag if needed.
It would be awsome if you could help me finding a solution.
Im not able to play for almost a month now.
ive seen you post this article for others i adjusted everything as mentione din this article but the problem is still persistant.
also im running the base clock ratio 3.00 GHZ and 2.50 as intel stated. i could overclock it up until 3.20 and 2.60 for the 5.8ghz. Alos why does this occur just now the seassons before i never had an issue just since seasson 10.
I don’t have any hand in the development of Overwatch 2, so I wouldn’t be able to give a direct answer to that. If I were to guess, it’s because the game is working the CPU a bit harder, which is very common as updates come out and technology continues to advance. But ultimately, I know firsthand that those CPUs are having issues with crashing due to settings performed by Intel before shipping them out.
I see. I ran cpu stress test and now after adjusting The Pl limits they never reach a critical point. Since i adjusted everything it lets me play 3-4 rounds before crahsing on a loading screen again it never happens while beeing ingame. But it still crashes sometimes directly on lunch.
small update. i found issues regarding my ram speed and my gpu i adjusted that aswell but crash still occurs. All other gpu settings are adjusted as mentioned in the post youve sent. i even tried the lower performence option. Theres nothing more for me to adjust.
