Hello,
since a few days I have a Playstation 5. Unfortunately, from the beginning there are always crashes during gameplay. The crashes only occur in Overwatch.
The timespan is very different. It can already come to a crash after 15min, but also after 60 minutes. Then I get a green screen and the PS5 simply shuts down. So I have to restart the PS5 manually.
There is no error code in Playstation menu.
In the meantime I have already tested all possible changes (wifi, cable, software reset, reinstallation, firmware updates…), but without success.
Does anyone have similar problems? Or a tip?
I am playing the PS4 version, disc.
Would love to play Overwatch!
Thanks!
The behaviors you describe suggest hardware failures of the PlayStation system. Consider checking the PlayStation Fix and Replace tool to work through critical steps that can help your system:

Thanks for your reply! It’s just funny that it happens exclusively in Overwatch…
Edit: … and Sony Support firmly believes it’s the game, since it only occurs with this one.
Have you tried completely uninstalling the game and reinstalling it?

Sure… i also tried to reset the whole PS5 system
You specified you had the disc version correct? Which game disc do you own? Origins/Collectors Edition, Game of the Year Edition, or Legendary Edition? Note, I doubt this will matter too much as most game data is now downloaded and digitial, but that can be helpful information for Blizzard QA at this point.
I own the Origins Edition for PS4
Thanks again, I am out of suggestions at this point. However this information will help Blizzard Quality Assurance narrow down possible issues if it is still under investigation. Note they don’t reply unless there is critical information they are looking to get from a specific user, so unfortunately patience may have to be the best option at this time. It is highly expected that there will be a formal game patch tomorrow with the launch of the new PachiMarchi Micro-Challenge Event, so keep an eye on the patch notes to see if anything is listed that may suggest the problem will be resolved.

Is this issue happen to others?
In the meantime, these crashes have spread to other games and the console was replaced by the manufacturer.

Yes, mine does it on DCUO when I do certain things such as enter a portal or respawn to rally points.
The controller loses its pairing for remote restart, it takes a good 5 minutes before I can even manually turn it back on.
It is NOT just your game.
