They probably figured a lot of it was bias

Let’s not forget they listened in OW1 when many CC claimed the new Reaper was OP in the experimental and then they “nerfed” him whn they released it live and that “buff” they claimed he got ended up making Reaper even worse in OW1 due to that and they had to do changes some weeks later lol.

They even tried the orb that another CC (who dislikes Moira) had an idea for…

Just because they’re CC doesn’t mean they don’t have bias too

I do not know the devs personally , but anyone who tries to have their cake and eat it too - devs trying to appeal to everyone - is a complete moron. But then again theyre just chasing the money, theyre not innovational artists, their message is a corny theme about inclusivity in a pvp game where we kill each other over objectives that have no lore purpose. Appeal to the zoomers and call it a day, make your check, keep it simple.

I would be ok with them listening to someone, anyone, at this point. At least then some issues might be addressed.

Some days I wonder if they get balance ideas from a manatee in an aquarium that chooses from balls that have “[Hero] Nerf” or “[Hero] Buff” written on them before a dev is blindfolded, spun around 3 times, and then tosses a dart at a cork wall that has the hero’s abilities painted on it. That is how confused I am by the decisions of the Devs when I read patch notes lately.

There are multiple ways to look at this, one of which of course being “Wow the devs really don’t listen” etc. etc.

But also… Gale declaring that the devs don’t listen just because they didn’t implement any of his ideas makes him sound really entitled.

He should just do what some forum goers do…. suggest 50+ things and then feel like he made a big difference when one of the dev ideas aligns with something he thought of.

I hate to defend Blizzard in this capacity but if there’s one place where I don’t want them to be particularly receptive, it’s special snowflakes in their special snowflake Blizzard hotline. It’s sort of like a lobbyist complaining that he isn’t being represented in government.

God, the content creator hate is always funny.
People act as if every single streamer and content creator is satan themself.

I don’t follow Gale and only know them as a decent Ana player from ages ago if my memory serves me right.
But nowhere does he say that they only ignored his feedback and brings up other good points.

So so many issues were brought up over the course of the year I was in it and it was always dodged or never fully addressed.

And I’m tired of content creators not speaking up about this because it’s unacceptable. It’s unacceptable to be fed lies from the start that this new team they brought in would genuinely make a change this time around. I’m here to tell you that nothing changed at all.

I agree with this. It seems like they did all that to get support from creators just to then ignore them after the game launched.

It’s just so frustrating to see a ranked system that’s been stripped of all its value. A full season of terrible balancing and sojourn not touched at all. Tons of bugs, issues, and a trash new shop system for cosmetics.

All pretty good points and very true.

As you can see, being a T500 or a CC or both does not imply you actually know how to balance and make proper suggestions.

Seems very entitled. Maybe their “suggestions” weren’t any good.

I wish I had a back door to the devs so I could beg for Dva buffs but no.

They should be happy it’s an option at all. I imagine they don’t care to listen to people who seemingly only complain
