I was planning on grinding comp but for some reason this color variant seem to be locked and doesn’t have the 3000 red comp points under it??
Does anyone have a clue why it is like this or could it be a bug?
I believe it only shows if you have enough currency, but don’t quote me on that
I think it’s because you don’t get it with points, but earn it in the pass. Until next season it will become purchasable like the other 2.

It’s probably a bug. By the time you can grind out 3,000 currency, it should be fixed. It’s definitely intended to be obtained with Comp currency, so it’s only a matter of time. No reason not to start grinding out the currency if you’re otherwise inclined to do so.
Yeah haha i saw someone on twitter saying they would give us the option to get them next season necause everyone starts at 0 or something and i’m like “??” Because that just doesn’t make any sense lol
I doubt it’ll take a season to fix, but since grinding the currency is slow, I wouldn’t be surprised if it takes more than a couple days (low-ish priority). Still, I wouldn’t think they’d need to wait all the way until midseason patch to deploy a fix.
It was a big patch full of gameplay stuff they need to look at; my guess is they’ll have a hotfix for balance/perks in a week or two and the same patch will fix the weapon variant issue.
