G-Sync doesn't work in Fullscreen Windowed

Per title. Configured correctly in Nvidia control panel. Have max fps limited below monitor hz. Have monitor hz overlay enabled.

Fullscreen - hz changes (working)
Fullscreen windowed - hz doesn’t change (not working).

Why?

I’m assuming you’re on windows 10 as there’s Gsync issues on it. To get Gsync to function you have to kill the task ‘DWM’ in your task manager every time you boot your pc (it will work until next reboot). Nvidia is supposed to be releasing a driver at some point to fix it.

Gsync Give advantage on game like Ultra Wide monitors. You Cant use this in Blizzard games. Stop it.

Blizzard Support pls, it would be unfair non gsync players if gsync gave a substantial fluency advantage.

…you can’t control what hardware people have. Not to mention Overwatch doesn’t officially support ultra wide resolutions to begin with, they only utilize part of the screen so people don’t have a larger view. Don’t turn someone else’s tech support thread into something else when you have no idea what you’re talking about.

144FPS and 240FPS is giving big advantage in game vs 60FPS and less when ppl have weak PC. Lock it on 30 for all players.

Gsync incras fluency and reduce input lag on gsync vs vsync players.

Alle games on market support Ultra Wide, only Blizzard dont. Blizzard You are so old fasion.

You have some options then: Buy a Gsync monitor/144hz monitor, buy a better PC, or disable Vsync. If you can’t afford any of those options that’s no one else’s problem but your own. I used play without Gsync/Vsync at 60hz with a terrible computer and I had no issues winning games.

If you really care about everyone having locked FPS go play on console. Make your own thread about the topic, though no one is going to agree with you.

If u have problem with UltraWide monitors go play on console…

I just buy UltraWide monitor and i can put all blizzard game to trash. Waste of money…

Ultra Wide give is no big difrence. Much more give good PC 30fps vs 240fps. 100+ ms input lag vs max 10ms input lag. Soo… :slight_smile:
