I just realized that people playing the forgotten heroes make less and less posts talking about the bad state of their heroes.
It’s been a while I haven’t seen much discussion about Bastion, Sombra and Pharah. Soldier got some attention due to a certain person making weird comparisons between him and Baptiste but has also fallen back into oblivion.
I guess everyone got tired and lost the strength to talk about it…
Well, the forums is such a minuscule amount of the player base, so I’m not surprised. Only popular heroes like Mercy get constant post for buffs.
Even when Moira was not a very good pick in high ranks prior to 2-2-2 nobody really made threads about her.
I really think that people are just having too much fun to care, there are some out there who talk about Bastion, Sombra, Sym at times, but not really that much either. I think Sym is probably the most talked about out of all the heroes you mentioned though. (I don’t ever see pharah threads)
When you got ignored for years, you end up going somewhere else.
I think Moira didn’t get buff posts because she had neither been busted nor particularly bad prior to 2/2/2. She definitely wasn’t a top pick but she wasn’t a throw pick either. She even was the best main healer for plat and bellow.
I didn’t mention sym for two reasons. First she’s had fervent followers since her many reworks. Second she got a loooooot of attention atthe start of double shield meta.
I guess I see Pharah threads a lot more as I love the hero. But I assure you they do exist.
Only “popular” forum heroes will get this attention. Easier said, sym mains are dedicated. Mercy players… show much dedication… which uh, isn’t necessarily “good” . I don’t know how to put it but if they advocated for buffs and QOL instead of mercy rework, they could’ve gotten an answer.

I tried for so long man, across both forums and nonstop across my 18,000 posts, not once did I ever get dev response from Pharah, not once has anything good come of it.
She only ever got a kit change balance twice since beta which averages to a kit change every 2 years
It’s preaching to a brick wall and a waste of energy, thats why I quit fighting for Pharah to be playable, and why I quit her as a main (after 500 hours on her), just can’t put up with it anymore and it’s clear Blizz has forgotten Pharah exists years ago
