Primary fire release: 195 dps as hight
Currently: 180 (however a faster chargerate and tickrate, but that doesn’t make her better at breaking sheilds… her job.)
Turret release: slow stacking (with enemy slows), 50 dps, 2 shots to be taken down
Currently: no slow stacking, 40 dps, one shot from most heros to destroy
Teleporter release: 2 second cooldown minimum 10ish max
Currently: 12 second minimum and maximum
Wall release: 5000 health, 15 second uptime
Wall currently: 4000 health, 12 second uptime
Yeah sorry about this anyone who is still playing sym. I hope you guys will have fun with the spring rework. I’ve actually had a really good time not playing symmetra recently, and I want to legitimatly suggest not playing her. Seriously, Sym just has no charm, and every change you can suggest for her isn’t in your hands.
The way to make her good is simply giving her a decent defensive/escape ability so she can survive. I don’t get why the most bs heroes (Mei and Reaper) get stupidly good evasive/defensive abilities and Sym doesn’t get one. I aint gonna lie i hate her but only cause her beam damage was broken a while ago but since they fixed it and then started nerfing her even more doesn’t make sense to me.
You can’t just look at numbers like that, lol. Her beam is much more consistent in damage now than it ever has been. Oh and the turret slows do stack. Don’t lie, please.
Do you remember that two months before the rework, Blizzard released a “community topics” dev update video, where one of the topics was specifically saying Symmetra didn’t needed a major rework, and then later arrived with a full kit swap?
Why do i have a feeling that they are making symm weaker intentionally so she can be reworked again!
They tried everything from buffing multiple areas of her kit with 3.0 and its proven to be very difficult because of how her kits are super complicated, hard to balance and buggy to boot.
If they buff her again then they will eventually nerf her again as a result so there is no point its just going round in circles so the answer is another redesign, a complete overhaul of her entire kit.
Symm 4.0 is Imminent! And im all up for it huehuehue
Not true… the only thing the bug fix did was make the first (few?) tick(s) deal the intended damage. If you’re hitting the beam now, it would hit before the bugfix too. It didn’t affect the charge rate.
The charge rate did get buffed since the release of 3.0 though. It started at like 4s which was ridiculous and now it’s 2,something?
And the other one where they said they think Mercy is in a good condition and where we want her to be, only to get nerfed like a thousand times more later haha!

Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t this rework the most play time she’s ever gotten in the history of her being in this game? I sorta get what your trying to say but at the same time you lost me because she’s still pretty strong if you’re looking at her pick and winrate.
