There I said it. It’s true. People won’t stop complaining about meta until 4-6 dps comps are viable. The meta is fine it’s your own fault that your edgy egotistical weeb butt only wants to play dps every game.

It’s a shooter game, I like shooting people. Honestly everyone would be so much less dang salty if they had never added straight-up healers and tanks to the game. Maybe some DPS characters could have had SLIGHT heal or tanky quality, but that’s it.
Just my opinion, of course.

Are you kidding? If the game was tank-heal free with the way maps are designed nobody would even be able to freaking move without instantly dying. With how much it sucks running back from spawn I’d rather not spend half the game doing so.

I play what i want, in QP of course. I don’t play overwatch to pick a hero i don’t enjoy playing.
go play death match or arcade if that’s the only thing you want to do. but then again once 2/2/2 drops you don’t have to care you just que your role and you don’t have to deal with complaining or people yelling at you/me/whoever.
People will complain no matter the meta.
- Stop with your personal bias toward DPS
- What’s wrong with wanting to play heroes you think are fun?
- Do you honestly think that DPS are the only ones that complain about a meta?

This post seems unnecessarily antagonistic towards DPS.
I play supports/tanks because I want to. I’m no different than those DPS who want to play DPS. Is it annoying when you’re solo healing and EVERYONE refuses to play tank, but it’s still their choice. DPS aren’t the enemy…

I personally play because I have enjoyed tanking and healing in games in my 20 years of gaming, and wouldn’t be playing if it was only dps.

Imagine if there was a meta where you couldn’t play support. Imagine how trash that would be. If it was only tanks and DPS. That’s what the goats meta is, but with DPS
And that is completely fine and understandable! What Blizzard should do is allow every player to play exactly what they want, while also maintaining good structure, a.k.a Rolelock 2/2/2 ! It’s exactly what’s gonna achieve, everyone gets to play the role they want, and decent team comps are a guarantee every single game!
