1 teaspoon packed brown sugar
1 oz/ 29.5 ml Irish whiskey
2 cups of freshly brewed coffee
1/2 cups whipping cream
1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- Put the brown sugar in the bottom of a heatproof glass or mug, then pour the whiskey over. Swirl to dissolve the sugar, and then pour in the coffee
- In a small bowl, quickly whip together the cream and spices with a whisk until the cream is fluffy, but not quite stiff. Gently spoon some of this onto the top of the coffee. Enjoy as is, or stir the cream into the hot coffee, Drink IMMEDIATELY (Or risk cold coffee)
