The queue times are what they should be in really low ranks (Bronze-Gold).
That’s where the quick games are.
While it’s true that’s 1 reason people smurf, that’s not justification for it.
What determines what queue times should be? It seems to me qeue times should be however long they are. It’s just a factor determined by player count.
queue times in CoD are about 20 seconds. That’s what they should be.
LMAO, imagine smurfing to speedrun smurfing because queueing on your main just means smurfing slower.

the fact hes queing onto servers that have no one to place with him is the issue.
idk if he got actual golds, but its been very common for over 6 years now for someone in GM+ to queue really late and get ppl alot lower then them on there team.
if you get a 1 hour+ queue chances are its going to put you atleast 1000sr lower then you should be, but thats not normal for the matchmaker.
if your in gold it doesnt do that.
this is uniquely a high elo problem, because there arnt alot of people in masters+ at any given time.
the low elo players complaining about it are misunderstanding how the system works, and thinking the icon means anything. it doesnt, your MMR is your real rank (always has been) and in ow2 your MMR can be vastly different then your hidden SR.
It’s 5PM in Aussie. This is peak time aside from the weekends. This is just unreasonable.

yeah but its aussie. what are the odds they even have dedicated servers, let alone enough people in GM for him to queue into.
thats the issue here, hes GM. thats top 1% of all players. if hes top 500, then theres like 3000 people globally he can be quickly queued up with.

But CoD has a different sized playerbase and different gamemodes.
Looks like he’s queuing for CTF ranked. Not surprised the queue is that long.

They don’t have roles. CoD is far less varied in gameplay.
