that trying to point-out players’ gameplay flaws will net you reports for abusive chat no matter how constructive you try to be; they’ll inevitably convince your enemy team that you’re the one being toxic and you’ll log back into a warning screen.

Yeah, I don’t bother much anymore even when it’s a really obvious answer. I don’t wanna listen to people cry all game because I dared to suggest a change we could make. No one knows how to say “thanks but I would rather do it my way” they gotta take it like an insult and report.
No real advantage to even joining team chat until above diamond and even then it’s often a detriment that leads to arguments and throwing.

See, that’s why I never tell anyone what to do nor point out specific things. I go for “Oh hey, what if we try this strategy” and give everyone else the option to choose not to, or figure out how to do it. Or, more likely, ask “How do you guys want to do this?”

I dont even say “A [Insert Hero Here] could really counter that [Insert Other Hero Here] thats giving us trouble” anymore because most of the time that will make someone else on the team tell one of our other teammates to swap in a provocative way and that person will start to throw and either feed the team or stand around emoting and voiceline spamming.
