Anyone else find it incredibly predatory that the only way to buy the new Freja skin is locking it behind an expensive bundle with only one other skin included? Shame on you Blizzard I thought we weren’t doing this kind of thing anymore.

I mean I’m sure it’s aggravating if you really want the skin… but ‘predatory’? I feel like that word gets thrown around a bit too much.

I deadass thought we would be able to buy the ultimate battlepass skins separately, after the Lilith Moira controversy.
I guess not. Oh well. I just won’t buy her skin then 
I did the same thing with kiri’s skin last season. It looked great to me, but I wasn’t about to spend $40 on the ultimate battlepass. Just let us buy it separately for $20.

To be fair, that $40 bundle gets you the battlepass ($10) and 2000 coins ($20). It’s worth it if you know you’ll be buying the pass anyway and spending the coins eventually.
I didn’t get it, because I think Freja looks cooler not as an anime character, but I can’t agree that it’s predatory. I got her cool red skin with old OW currency.

I mean sure in the grand scheme of things no one is going to make me buy anything, but if Blizzard wants me to spend money on their free to play game then their should be a mutual respect there. After all I think it’s in bad faith to say locking the new hero skin behind an expensive bundle with one other skin and some battlepass skips is not exploitative from a business perspective
Also next season it will be available for box drops and there’s an entire store rotation so it’s really not predatory unless it’s a 3rd party collab skin.

I was going to ny the BP anyway so that’s $10 covered
Then I bought kiri so that’s another $20
so in the end this bundle is like getting the skin half off. Plus Illari is decent too

Ultimate battle pass skins are in the lootboxes. That’s how i got Magma Mauga.
