Freezing or BSOD due to "nvlddmkm event 14" only on OW

Hello.

As I mentioned already in the title, my computer randomly freezes only on overwatch.
When BSOD popped up, the screen said video TDR failure.

I took a glipmse on event viewer, there were several “nvlddmkm event 14” errors.

BTW, my computer specs are

h110m-hdv
i7 -7700
gtx 1060 3gb
16gb ram (no overclock)

I’m not familiar with computer stuffs, so I googled the event number, and followed along.

I tried,

  • installing 566.03 , 566.14, 576.28 each while utilizing DDU safe mode
  • switch GPU hardware scheduling option
  • All along using lowest options ( 1280x 720 , 50% rendering scale, all possible options tweak lowest) so that I could rule out temperature issues.

The thing is,

I’ve recently played leagues, valorant, tf2, kingdom come deliverance, PUBG, hitman 2, Dead by Daylight for several hours straight without an issue.
It never popped up.

Only OVERWATCH does. So I don’t understand how it went.
Not even a clue.
