For those who don’t know, as a compensation for OW2’s bad launch, blizzard will be giving everyone who logs in on Oct 25 until the end of season one a free reaper skin and weapon charm.

The reaper skin is alright, but I really love the weapon charm
I haven’t bought any weapon charms due to a lack of interest on all the ones that we currently have, but I’ll probably forever equip this one until a better one comes out
I would care more if I played reaper, didn’t dislike pirates, or carried a manpurse covered with those annoying “charms.” That dangling thing on Reinhardt’s hammer in his “Crusader” skin is the reason I stopped using it two days after it was introduced.
Same time, though, I have other things to spend my free time on, so those annoying waiting queues weren’t impactful in the first place. If anything, my takeaway from “have some free garbage you don’t like as an apology for something that didn’t affect you” should probably be to take it as an insult to try and win back a little bit of loyalty because I’m a human being and not a number.
I’d care more if it wasn’t standard for actiblizzion to treat everybody like numbers, but yeah, if I put any weight to my takeaway, it’d be finding nothing more than an insult in the unwanted free junk.
ew i thought the reaper skins was going to be pumpkin one, that’s hideous. OW skins are terrible in general. very rarely do they produce anything of note.
I would say that they were going to give us that skin anyways, but this is current blizzard we are talking about, it was most likely a 50 dollar skin and 200 dollar weapon charm and we are all just super lucky they gifted us these sacred relics.
