Hey all, first timer on the forums apologies for any inconvenience.
Recently I purchased a new cpu as a replacement for my bottleneck cpu. It ran very well until the next day and onward, I tried everything I could find online and simply put I’m stumped. The next thing I was tempted on buying was a new ssd drive, (current ssd 128gb max storage i could possibly free being 10gb). Again, unsure if this is an appropriate place to ask this kind of help, but I don’t know what to do besides buy a new ssd :c .Any help would be appreciated and I will be extremely grateful for any recommendations. Thank you <3
SSDs do require about 15% free to perform optimally. If you’re still using a 128GB drive, chances are the age of the drive and the lack of space are both contributing to bad performance.
I figured it might be a possibility, would a terabyte ssd be my best bet? And if so I can update this forum if it works out. (I apologize for being uneducated in pc parts)
I would go with the highest you can afford. Many games these days can take up to and beyond 100GB space.
