Frame drops since last season

Every time I start up the game, it almost always starts with insane frame drops. 80-50FPS and below with the cursed 3 dots, compared to my usual 144FPS. Spamming “reduce buffering” doesn’t do anything, the only solution that has worked for the previous season was to switch the “Frame rate” option back and forth between “Custom” and “Automatic” and it would fix itself. Now that doesn’t even work, it seems that I have to wait multiple minutes for the frame rate to fix itself on its own, and what’s worse is that even when it “fixes” itself, I still get 10FPS drops, which makes the game borderline unplayable.

My CPU is the AMD Ryzen 5 3600 3.6 GHz 6-Core Processor, and my video card is the Radeon RX 5600 XT 6 GB. My monitor is 144hz. Surely it should be enough to run the game fine?

I’m with the same issue. thought it was happening only with me.
Don’t know how to fix it.
My video card is RX 5700 XT 8gb.

I’ve already had most graphics settings on off or low but I’ve tuned absolutely everything to low/off now. Turned off fullscreen optimisation as well in the Windows settings since I’ve heard that could also affect frames. It seems to make the FPS fix itself quicker and the drops are less jarring.

Still annoying that I have to mess around the practise range for a solid minute before I can actually play, but maybe a good temporary fix until they actually fix this issue?

Came to say I’m experiencing the same issue, and it’s frustrating. Any solution yet?

About a month late but nope. And it’s still happening for me.

Its been almost 3 months that i launch Overwatch and my fps drop instantly from 150 to 6-10 fps. I’ve tried everything, scan files, uninstall reinstall, nothing worked. Has anyone any clue about this?

I have the same issue except I have the highest end PC on market. Ryzen 7950X3D and RTX4090. It started for me around Season 6.
