Fps lock is bugged

I have already complained on this forum about periodic random fps drops to the same values, regardless of the graphics settings.
I found that the fps lock has a bug. It always drops the fps below the specified value by a few percent.

If I set the lock to 200 fps, frames randomly drop to 170-180. If I set the lock to 170 fps, frames drop to 150. If i set fps lock to 150 fps drops to 125.

This is not observed with the fps limitation using the amd software. But due to the input lag, I can not use this method.

My computer allows me to get stable 180 fps (it was tested on custom maps with artificial load in the form of a crowd of bots and several ultimates.) 90% of the time in a real game, everything is fine, until randomly the fps starts to drop for a certain period, creating input lag.
I am sure that the problem is on the game side and it is important for me to know if any patches are planned related to performance issues. I heard that the developer is preparing a patch related to optimization troubles. Is this true?

Interesting.
You mean the in-game lock is bugged, or in the AMD driver?
AMD has two types. Chill and FRTC (Frame Rate Target Control)
FRTC has worse input lag, then Chill.

I mean in-game lock, i have no problem with Radeon chill fps lock.
For some reason, on my pc, it is in-game fps lock that behaves this way, I tracked fps and it does not drop if I use Radeon chill lock, but because of input lag, I can not use it

Thanks for the info!
Gonna test it, after the mid season patch, have drops as well.
Using in-game lock + Anti-lag.
Min-Max is the same number for you in Chill?

Yes, I set the lock to 150-150 fps, but as I said, despite the stability of Radeon Chill, there is an input lag and anti-lag does not bring any effect.

Well I tried without the in-game lock, but doesn’t make any difference for me, sadly. :frowning:
The first match was smooth, but after the fps was unstable again. Maybe It’s a different issue for me, or some sort of memory leak?
Anti-lag works really good for me, I can feel the difference, but I can’t use Chill and Anti-lag in the same time, (Maybe you can in newer cards. RX5700XT here.) that’s why I need the in-game lock.

UPDATE: I decided to delete and download the game again. And it helped a lot, but today my first game performance was stuck in 40-50fps. I decided to change the in-game “Frame Rate” from “Custom” to “Automatic”, and the fps was good again.
