Fps drop - no solution

I have been having an issue for months where my framerate has been dropping to an average of 40 fps. I have a NVIDIA 4070. I have checked all my video settings- I have gone back updates on windows, I have uninstalled both graphics drivers and the game itself. The issue gains a temporary fix for a day but it seems that every day - as if on a timer- my game will plummet in frames from 160 down to 40. When I die in game, they spike back up to 160, but as soon as I re-enter the game to play it drops. I have done everything. PLEASE. HELP.

List of things I have done:

  • Display Driver uninstaller/reinstall
  • Techpower GPU-Z
  • CPUID CPU-Z (both this and previous to go deeper into my PC to clean wipe any issues and monitor power pull)
  • uninstalled both graphics driver and overwatch/ reinstall
  • Gone back 2 windows updates (I heard about NVIDIA having issues with windows new AI)
  • IN-GAME settings such as Direct 11 or x12.
  • Borderless, full-screen, and windowed - full-screen works best.
  • changed graphics settings to each level from low to epic (though with a 4070 I doubt that is the issue.)
  • reverted settings back to default (and then changed them back to what they should be after such as ‘best match’ or any other NVIDIA specific selections)

Each of these has resulted in a temporary fix of my and I get normal FPS of an average 160. I have restarted my computer after the fix has been done and the issue does not come back UNTIL the next day- like some type of computer auto update that seems to be changing something. Though as stated above, my frames spike back to normal once my character is dead and I am spectating.
