first i thought you misspelled buffs then i thought you meant actual beef but then i finally realised you meant that the characters had beef
god i am so stupid
You mean the mirror ones?
When I play junkrat, I’m seeing all red if the enemy team has another junkrat.
I live for the moment to bombard the other rat, and when the rip tire is out, I take it personaly to bring it down or find the hidden enemy rat.
But the most famous beef is the widowmaker one. If a widow pops a head of someone who has even the slightest experience with widow, suddenly their games turn to 1v1. Nothing can take their focus out of their duel.
Whenever two dooms see each other on the same map, it is understood there must be a minimum of three 1v1’s. The dooms must target the other doom to the point of switching and/or leaving. It is a test of dominance and skill. There are no underhand tactics and healers must not interfere.
God I wish that were true for me. Every other Doom in my matches hides and tries to sucker punch me in the back when I’m going after their healers.
I can never get a 1v1 with them.
To answer OP…
If I’m playing Tracer and you go Sombra to hack me, I’m going to try to kill you in your face so hard that your healers puke. Then I’m going to dump three more clips into your corpse then melee it off the nearest cliff while screaming obscenities.
I thought “beef” as in passing gas… Ashe’s specifically. The dynamite only made it seem more plausible.
I can say with certainty that when a Mercy meets a Mercy, things get real aggressive real quick. I’m not sure what it is, but there’s beef there.
Queen Bee syndrome. Only one can be present at time, they kill all the others
i’m not sure, but after playing some d.va it seems the enemy d.vas gets invested in trying to chase me around more so than my team.
it’s like i hurt her children or something and it just becomes this weird fat bumble bee fight around the map constantly.
when it first happened it striked me as odd.
That’s hillarious description of Ashe appearance =)))
Doesn’t happen with Sombra mains. When we awkwardly stealth bump into each other, we just throw out a wave and “boop” and each continue on our merry way to murder the others backline.
The ones I find trying to focus me the most are other DPS (Tracer, Genji, Doom, Bastion, Junk or Ashe usually) that are getting beat by Sombra, then try to swap to mirror my pick. I love those battles.
That’s odd. If I ever start wondering why we can only get 5 to group up, and the enemy seems short as well, 75% of the time it’s because both Dvas are off in some remote corner having a dance party.
I definitely feel compelled to be the superior Hamster should I meet a unicorn fellow Hamster on the field of battle.
Including, to a lesser degree, the times an extra salty opponent goes Hammond mid-match to spite me and tries to out-Hamster me.
that’s also true, that’s why i thought it was really weird when these last d.vas i met got all competitive and protective and i could just feel the hate from her small gremlin face.
I go out of my way to assert dominance on a lesser torb player. Granted, i need to find them first. They’re such a rarity.
but seriously, i’ll destroy their turret, i’ll invade the backline, i’ll shoot them in the face, i’ll destroy the enemy shields all by myself if i have to just to make a point that “you’re not playing torb right”
It’s annoying and stupid when someone playing the same character as me thinks it’s necessary to focus their attention on me. Depending on whether they’re on their win streak or not, pretty much seals the game.
Play Pharah then. Pharah players pretty much always ignore each other, because hitting a midair target with those rockets is hard.
It’s not a problem. It’s annoying.
Well play Pharah anyway. She’s been lonely since this new meta started up.
I’ll play Pharah with your mother.
