I started to play Reinhardt recently and I’m just unable to move while playing vs Doomfist.
Any tips?
Kill him using only Charge
Show him who is the true alpha!

Tell your team when he is on you if they are blind… That is about all you can do. Doom messes up Rein.
I switch to Roadhog or Orisa.
What can you do? Wack him with your hammer? Firestrike him? Charge him? Reinhardt isn’t designed to deal with Doomfist. If a Doomfist is in your face then really falls up to the other tank/dps to deal with him.
With the recent buff to Rein’s passive it’s literally impossible for a Doomfist to juggle you around like he used to. Just tell your team to focus him and just press W and keep swinging your hammer.

If DF engages current Reinhardt, DF is a dummy and all you have to do is hold M1, counter charge if applicable.
If Doom jumps the backline, not much one can do but yell “help the supports” on mics. If you turn around and focus him, you are giving him value by turning your back on the frontline.

rein main here.
the problem with doomfist is you dont have enough interaction time as rein to see what works. he just doesnt dive you for long enough periods.
so ill tell you what ive found;

the best counter to uppercut is charge, as their is a slight delay before ground slam is enabled. mouse 1 does not work here as the uppercut pushes doom away from you slightly.

slam is usually a precursor to the rest of a particular combo. so just mouse 1 for a bit, and wait.

rocket punch, i know people usually say to charge him if he does this but without dps you need to save it so you can deal your own dmg, or you are just a punching bag. rein has had recent buffs to diminish this and the subsequent wall slam dmg.

shotguns, dont see much people talking about this part for tanks, but if you let him shoot you without shield up it can put you in 1 shot territory.
in conclusion :
dont press m1 without reason, shotguns will swiss cheese you.
be patient for your opening, usually the uppercut.
theirs a reason there were so many reddit clips of reins charging dooms into the 4th floor attic.
most dooms after ult immediately charge rocket punch, hes vulnerable to charge at this point.

If he uppercuts you charge him. You’ll get a pin kill everytime, and he’ll stop messing with you

basically ill back up if he frontline fists me constantly and countercharge him whenever its safe to do so
i also see big value in solo shattering him because of how quickly he builds it
not anymore with rein buff. Doesn’t line up.

2. Solo ult him with tbag.

We don’t. And it’s not our job. The team has an off tank and 2 dps who can easily switch to counter him.
Being the main tank doesn’t mean you have to deal with the entire enemy team. It’s a team game for a reason.
counter charge his fist
charge his meteor strike center
call out for a team mate to be on doom duty while you just bully hard enough that he either A) cant get support from his team or B) needs to peel for his team probably wasting cooldowns inthe process

The issue with Reinhard is that if he’s dead team has low chance at doing anything and now with his shield nerfs he’s an even easier target to deal with. You just need to get few multistuns (which are very easy to get giving how many heroes have stuns) to realize how weak Reinhard is.
Moreover now that shield is even less impactful, but damage and stuns are the same even more babysitting is required to keep him alive, overall tanks are awful to play.
Also if you as Reinhard need to deal with Doomfist then game is lost, that means you have no dps and it matters very little what you’ll do.

wait what? that was our only defense before, now we have to be babysat by our off tank or orisa. do we not go as high as before?
