Nah I think it’s okay. I believe the contents of this tutorial are still as relevant (and potentially useful) as they were a few years ago

i mean yea… im quite surprised on how many people actually don’t know this yet

This was a useful post when it seemed like Blizzard was actually going to pay attention the to OW forums and moderate who can post cool stuff.

Boy, we are a LONG way from that. It’s hard to imagine anything but this forum being a complete failure with a dedicated base who still check/post (obviously I’m one of them).

well it is. were like fall guys, a small dedicated base of people who still check in/play even tho the forums themselves where a failure

also blizzard cares way more about wow then overwatch, hence why their forums actually get attention and FREAKING LOCKED MESSAGES!
here everything just gets necro’d

Thank you for pointing that out  I corrected it

Did I just get rickrolled in 2021?

I’ll never forgive forum devs for removing ability to stack < h1> and < div > tags over and over to make text absurdly gigantic.

This

is now the largest possible text you can make :(

But at least I can still do

this

and

this

Idk why i still cannot post links and videos, i interact with forums since i bought overwatch, and i still now allowed to post ANY video, images or links.

You need to “read” 20,000 posts within the span of 100 days.

Get a macro to do it for you while AFK.

Thanks for help! But help, just open post or open and scroll entire page?

You can’t scroll constantly. That used to be an option, but then the forums updated so that you need to stop scrolling for a bit (about 2-3 seconds) for it to register the post as “read”. Hence the need for a macro rather than just setting the middle mouse button while zoomed all the way out.

The best way to do it is to find a very large thread, zoom all the way out, and set the macro to scroll intermittently.
