You realize that Widowmaker has the same movement speed as most other characters on the roster, and she has a grappling hook that she can use to immediately escape a sticky situation.

I was referring to her grapple. Almost every single character in this game has some form of mobility on cooldown. So does Widow. And her’s is on a longer cooldown than just about every other mobility skill in the game

So what exactly was the lie??? It’s not like it is actually a get out of jail card, DVa, Winston and Pharah can dive her pretty effectively, Sym can move an entire team up to her face, 76, McCree, Ana, bap are all hitscans that can hit her easily, Hanzo can hit her easily … It’s not like she has god mode. She has to stand still with minor alterations to kill people.
If DPS can’t kill her when she isn’t moving that is their fault.
On a chance for a shot that might kill a squishy and put her without her only way to reposition for 10 seconds

If your taking the shot with the risk your using your mobility CD on peeking for a kill im sure your in a safe position to do so.

Counter-Strike’s AWP would like a word with you if you think that’s a trait exclusive to Widowmaker.
You know what no other character in Overwatch has? A hitscan weapon that lets you spam one-shots on any non-tank character, at any range.
Having average mobility is a small price to pay for a tool like that.
If you’re dueling with a Widowmaker as any of those characters, you’ve already made a grave mistake.
Possible, yes. Gonna happen with success every single time? No. You can dive her with no issue because she’ll be stuck and forced to fight a losing fight

If you’re challenging Widowmaker at all without a barrier, you’re an idiot.
Widow can’t 1 shot tanks, let alone spam 1 shots that don’t exist.
If the Widow is spamming shots, she’s not doing much damage. Her spam shots only do 12 (24 crit) every .5 sec. Anyone who dives her will dish out more damage than she can. If “spamming” is waiting 1.4 sec to get full charge, she’d be dead before firing the first shot
Don’t be silly, everyone knows she has a 600 dmg shot reserved for tanks and has those 300 hp shots with no charge rate whatsoever

So you need a shield to take on Widowmaker? Meaning, to beat Widowmaker as Bap, 76, McCree, or Ana, it has to be a 2v1 at minimum?
