Either you guys suck at coding or are intentionally lying.
Every other map is Push. Server “crash” and map changes to push.
Remove this stupid game mode.

And while we’re at it…stop the garbage crossplay.
Give PCMR a chance to opt-out of that trash.
Every PCMR lobby is sus with ??? aim and regs.
Almost like the entire i/o and movement slows down to accomodate.
Crossplay + Push? That’s an auto-leave.
This is what Aaron had to say about it:
Map frequency. Some players seem to think that we set the frequency of maps in the pool higher for new maps and game modes. The example we hear a lot is that Colosseo comes up much more frequently than other maps. We don’t have any special code that prefers one map over another. However, it’s not entirely random. We have been looking into this based off of player reports and there is a detail of the matchmaking system that does elevate Push maps a bit. The matchmaker tries to avoid people playing the same map as well as the same game mode over a short period of time. Since Push has fewer maps than other game modes this could cause those maps to come up more frequently than game modes with more maps. We’re looking into a way to mitigate this, targeted for a future season. This is even more important considering that we have another new game mode with new maps scheduled for a seasonal release later this year.
Note the “targeted for a future season”
Nah, they should spend some time to try and rework it if it’s that much of an issue before doing that
I like Push.
But aside from that, I’ve looked at my game history reports. 10 Comp games back-to-back, and 10 different maps. The game seems to be doing a great job of giving me map variety in my lobbies.
You know it makes no difference right? First off it’s unranked, but even then the players you are being matched with whether they are PC or console, we’re decided by the system to be of the same skill level or around the same skill level as you. Noobs or noobs, and good players are good players and you’ll still get them either way.
It makes a complete difference. You have to play enough to notice it.
The crossplay lobbies feel offputting and different. Everyone there is getting some DDA rigging back/forth. Unfun.
Besides, if the game is alive and well then there should be strong % of PC-only.
And map pools wouldn’t be a thing, since splitting the player base wouldn’t be a thing.
They lied to our face regarding the 35 million players.
I mean I have about a 1000 hours logged into the game, can’t say I have noticed much of difference still the same old mix of good or bad players imo
Crossplay lobbies are just clunkier. It’s noticeably altereted (rigged for close games), for i/o throughput and different kinds of aim, reg prio, and hitbox scaling.
No thank you. Even for a casual mode, I want my online PvP shooter to be casually PCMR or offer an opt-out from the xplay crap.
Oh and in case you didn’t get enough Push, just happened to notice a 5v5 Push arcade mode. Yes nothing but push maps! Just what every one wanted.
Rigging? I haven’t noticed any rigging, if anything they updated OverWatch to be the same as the PC version with the whole turret damage changes when they introduced crossplay . The only difference is the console players generally don’t turn as fast and they utilize aim assist because it without it it’s pretty horrible. However at the end of the day their ability to play scales with their level and MMR so despite the fact that they aim slower or potentially use aim assist, what they lack or gain as an advantage should be offset by their ability to play which gained them the MMR that they’re at.
There’s videos online where they put two grand master teams one PC and one console to fight each other and the games were pretty close.
