Clash has a forced comeback mechanic of the more you’re winning, the farther your spawn is, and the closer the enemy spawn is.
99% of games will end with a score of 5-4 because it’s impossible to be behind more than 1 point unless teams are massively unbalanced. Meaning none of the fights matter until the last one.
When you are winning, you have to spend so much more effort to capture the next point, compared to the effort when the enemy are re-capturing their own points.
In fact, losing until 4-4 is a valid strategy, often done unintentionaly. It will be much easier for you to defend on your base’s side than to attack their side.
The worst thing you can do on your final fight is to have to fight At point E(the enemy’s spawn), D, or even C.
It sounds counter-intuitive because it is.
