Automatically force team chat without the option of leaving or mute. Leave the report feature, but make it more prominent.
If you join comp as a team, there should be no option of group chat. 2 or 3 people do not make a team in OW. Discuss…
Blizzard has already discussed this they don’t want this in their game.

player base is not responsible enough to handle those sort of settings and you know it. Why should anyone be held hostage to some kid ranting/raving/mocking/playing music/racist or sexist slurs or just screeching like that scene in Dumb and Dumber etc for an entire match?
plus you don’t even need coms for the bulk of SR range and how those player play.

Forcing players to enter team chat is a good idea. But mute should still be left in. At least make it less convenient to be a douchebag and mute the whole team.
If that’s was the case and someone was being toxic I’d just mute my entire sound then.

Everyone has options and not every stack even has mics on their own teams (I joined a couple of times in the past and some teams were as silent as ever), but making it mandatory is just…illogical. At least to me, it does
This is the worst idea that I’ve read in the forum. I never join the voice chat and use a mic because people make fun of my accent and be racist towards me. With your logic, then should I listen to those people and play the game? I don’t think so. The overwatch community is a lot worse than you think my friend. Your logic will only apply IF and only if people aren’t toxic, willing to switch there hero, and actually communicate.
My player voice volume is already set to zero so feel free. 
Er… no. I mean, I prefer people in voice, but of their own volition.
