And also, is it against the rules? I’m in Italy, my friends are in New York. The game randomly puts us in either the Italy server or the New York server. If we get the Italy server the ping is too high for them, if we play New York the game is unplayable for me.
If we could just pick London, in the middle, we’d have no problems. We do this in both Siege and Apex, but this game seems to have no options for us to do that. Any help? I see some complicated guides regarding IP blocking but I wanna be sure it’s within the rules etc etc.
in your battlenet app bottom left, says Game version, Overwatch 2 with a dropdown arrow, to the right of that arrow there is a globe icon. You can try switching to a UK server there but I’m not positive if that would fix the issue.
You can’t choose servers in OW2. The only way to pick you location is to use a VPN or proxy. I personally use a pay per traffic VPN and just put 3€ every 3 months or something to play on NA.
This is inconvenient in your case though, as your whole party would have to VPN to London.
