For the PC users

What mouse, keyboard, and mousepad do you use? And how do you change the DPI on the mouse?

I use mainly Corsair, and I change the DPI/Sensitivity through the Corsair software. But I’d recommend if you’re new to PC, choosing what looks like it will work best for you. Maybe watch some videos on pros and cons of certain types, and/or comparison videos.

Hope you find something you like!

I’ve got a laptop, so keyboard is built in, mousepad is turned off.
I use a Logitech G Hero mouse though, it’s got software that lets me pre-configure 5 dpi settings I shift between with buttons next to the left click, those can be set per game or for desktop use, for example my OW2 dpi: 2500, 3200, 4100, 9300, 15200 vs my desktop dpi: 3000, 3600, 6400, 13800, 25600.
It also came with weights, but I don’t use those at all.

Whatever feels good in your hand. Any modern mouse will do. Your choice of sneakers don’t make you run faster, it’s all placebo.

Thanks! I’m looking through their site now. I’ve seen a few comparison videos and things like that, so I’m looking for a lighter and smaller mouse than my current one.

Well, it’s not placebo when it’s technology. Just any mouse won’t necessarily work, even if it feels good in your hand. Some have better tech than others. I just don’t know which ones are super good yet, so I want to know what other people use.

I love my razor Huntsman v2 kb. So so clicky and solid.

For mouse I just got a razor Basilisk ( switched from 15 years of 500s)

Absolutely nuts setup. The best PC periphials I’ve used.

Mouse: logitech pro wireless. Superlight and I hated drag from the cord. Have been using wireless mice for a while now and there is no input lag or anything like that.

Mousepad. Cheap cloth one. Had a more expensive brand one once and didn’t notice any difference. Just make sure its big enough for your gaming style and the space you actually have (or don’t have).

Keyboard: logitech something something orion. Not much to say about keyboards as this is the first one I used as I was a notebook gamer before.

Mine says Logitech G403 on the bottom. My only complaint is that the soft coating on the side peels over time. It’s probably meant to improve grip or something, but it’s hard to keep clean.

You can change the DPI by clicking the small button in the middle.

I use a Roccat Vulcan Pro keyboard, a Logitech G502 Hero mouse and no mousepad.
There is no particular reasoning behind any of these choices.

corsair darkcore pro - i have bigger hands so it fits well, also has side piece for pinky so its not stuck on mouse pad

corsair k95 - mechanical key board overall its good, not a huge fan of the space bar but asides from that its great

steelseries size xl or something cheap but basic - the good thing about using the corsair software is you calibrate the mouse to the mouse pad through iCUE software

through the corsair iCUE software its extremely user friendly

Logitech MX Master. It doesn’t kill my hand to use it.

Definitely don’t get the Logitech G 502 hero then, that thing is a brick. It’s comfortable and feels and looks really good, but it’s just crazy heavy imo. I’m a girl though, so not sure if men find it heavy too, definitely for me it’s heavy enough it affects my aim.

I’m very partial to Razer equipment as it’s worked well for me during my transition from console to PC. Not crazy expensive, but still decent quality.

Mousepad is a Razer gigantus V2. Not so big it takes up your whole desk, but big enough you’re not accidentally running your mouse off the edges.

My mouse is a Razer Naga Trinity (because I need a lot of buttons on it), but all Razer mice are really lightweight, responsive, comfortable, and reliable imo. The Razer software to customize your rgb and dpi etc is pretty easy to use and doesn’t do weird random things in the background that might affect gameplay.

I don’t play with a keyboard, so that’s just a standard bargain Black Shark clickety clackity rgb one I found on Amazon for $30, but it’s pretty good for the price. Didn’t expect it to look and feel as nice as it does for the price.

Really? I thought it felt really light and with two of weights (I think they weigh 3.6g each) added in, it feels really good. Then again, I play with really high dpi, so I guess that balances each other out.

That is what happened to me 3 weeks ago. I went to replace my 500 Logi and tested the new 500s and I could NOT BELIEVE HOW TANK THEY ARE. After 15 years of using those models I went Razor. I am a giant dude and those new 500 made me lol. The Razor Basilisk is sick though.

I also got a Tortarus (left hand MMO thingy) to play WoW on and while it’s way too clunky for FPS that thing shreds on MMO.

Also, all the razors synch up LED with no need for any user input. Good stuff and I’m glad I switched off the titanic-sized Logi gear. Happy games

I took out all the extra weight and it was still insanely heavy.

I weighed both my Razer and my 502 hero and the 502 hero with 0 weights inside weighed 123g, while the Razer Deathadder V2 weighed only 80g. It may not seem like a lot, but it was definitely noticeable to me and I just couldn’t get used to the weight and had to go back to Razer.

Logitech g502 (with one additional weight)

corsair k70

steelseries QcK.

depends on the mouse. gaming mice usually have buttons that lets you swap between various DPI settings. Some mice let you do that through software as well.

I’m using a mechanical keyboard that’s pretty custom and a Logitech g203.

I had nicer mouses but they all failed or had issues but the g203 doesn’t.

Mouse - Logitech G Pro (wired)
Keyboard - Corsair K100
Mousepad - Steel Series Large Thick
DPI - Logitech Software, set to 750 (been refining this between 750 - 1000, slowly lowering it to comfort)
Sensitivity - Most characters are around 5, some are higher (Moira/Genji).
Monitor - MG278Q (1440p/144hz/1ms)

Mouse: Roccat Leadr
Keypad: Razer Tartarus pro
Mousepad: Razer firefly
Headset: Razer Kraken v3 pro

It’s not the most premium equipment but I’m pretty happy with it.

Mouse: Corsair Darkcore RGB Pro SE
Keyboard: Corsair K100

Usually the DPI can be changed in Corsair’s ICUE program.
