Follow us into the shadows—Overwatch 2 Halloween Terror is back!

this update will add fov on consoles?

Wow YT showed no mercy.

I don’t think many people are watching OW2, it has only like 10k more viewers then CS:GO and it’s been out for not even 1 month. CS:GO has been out for years. For a F2P game in it’s first month it doesn’t look pretty IMO.

Anyone paying attention had to see this coming. The event is shorter than usual, and Blizzard’s recent output has been extremely lackluster in both quantity and quality. It was obvious they didn’t shorten the event because it was better in some way.

The optimistic view, for anyone still clinging to the idea that this game might be good some day, is that all their effort has been going into PvE, so of course these seasonal PvE events are a lower priority. There is still the slim chance that PvE will be worth all this trouble in the end.

I don’t personally believe that, but it’s still technically possible.

I definitely want more skins, I just think that 30+ every event seems like a lot

whales will be whales no matter what so even if they add a way to unlock it for free whales will still pay however much blizzard wants

There are many people like me, that until they get a skin for their main in the store (in my case Mercy), we don’t plan to spend even a miserable €

Unfortunately, yes.

A lot of people simply accept things as-is because they can afford it instead of bartering for more/better. It just seems sheepishly passive of consumers when businesses push them for more money (which is fine), but those consumers at the very least don’t push back for better value (this is not fine to me).

I price match, barter, use coupons, and shop at multiple places even though It’s not financially necessary because I want the best value I can get from my money. I want nicer things and more money in my accounts; bending over when companies increase prices for the same level of quality screws me in both areas [pun somewhat intended]

you seriously think that a billion-dollar corporation hasn’t done the market research to know exactly how to set their prices for maximum profit?

What happened to shame? :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Screw your halloween event. Give me my damn cosmetics back.

Market research doesn’t always line up.

Microsoft is a huge company and Halo infinite multiplayer ended up being a huge flop and their player base is dead a year post release.

Reminds me of when the US government didn’t respond to inflation quick enough because decades of research and trends said to wait it out.

And that was extremely recent.

“Follow us into the shadows”

Dark side confirmed.

Someone didn’t play Archives 2021, did they?

Blizzard, your greed is showing.
Events should be times when players can earn cosmetics through playing the game, not shopping your store.
At this rate, I shudder to imagine what Black Friday and Cyber Monday will look like.

She only got an epic skin, nothing else, absolutely nothing else, 2 years without legendary skins, or other things.
