I mean you can make an argument (albeit a weak one)for tracer buffs but reverting her to the state where she was a top 3 dps in ow1, in a game that now benefits her way more, would make her stronger than current sojourn, which is to say, completely busted

Tracer is fine. Sheāll be better than Sombra after her nerfs. Sheāll be better than Genji after his nerfs. By reducing her damage they just increased her skill level needed, if you miss you cant one clip.

While I concur that the words of streamers arenāt gospel, it should be noted that this guy is a tank main, so he would have a pretty neutral take on it.
Other streamers that do play Tracer have also said sheās garbage atm. Kabaji and Dafran especially.
There are currently two problem groups with Tracer, one of which will be helped by the nerfs tomorrow (her being outclassed by other flankers). This is a fix for the upper tier players.
But the other problem is sheās just ā¦ not possible to get value out of unless you are a top tier player anymore.
All the low-mid tier Tracer mains are down bad. The damage nerf hit us hard. And while I realize they canāt balance the game for us, it still sucks, and Iād at least like to be able to acknowledge that it sucks without someone pointing out ābut sheās still viable in the top 1% if youāre really good!ā Yeah ā¦ I know, I know. But my heartās still broken. XD

The dude canāt work out cause and effect here, Iām not sure his takes on balancing will be good ones.
For that to be fixed, you would need a rework, which would break your heart more.

the devs did mention her on the patch blog but they are taking a look at her so i wouldnt expect buffs soon. maybe after second season depending on her performance across ranks.
only they have the data and then they make their judgements which at times i think they make mistakes or have a little bias depending onā¦

I can disagree with you, and think it though. Hell thinking it though basically means I HAVE to disagree with you.
Flats is complaining that the queue times are bad, because supports are not queueing, AND making suggestions which would make the problem worse.
Yes, Tracerās balance sucks for most of the ladder, but they canāt fix that without a rework, one which the Tracer mains would fight every step of the way.

It would, agreed. Iād take this over that. Itās just ā¦ I want to feel impactful without having to play Reaper or Sojourn, man. ;_; I want to Blink around the map and make Widows break their keyboards again.
I also miss Pulse Bombs that actually killed things.

Tracer is definitely not ābottom 5 dps.ā Sojourn is just better though, but she wonāt be nerfed, so Tracerās position is probably not getting any better. I donāt think Genjiās nerfs will make Tracer overtake him either.
