I derive joy from watching him crap on supposed “tips and strategies” and garbage comments to the videos that remind me of some of the hogwash I see thrown around in games and on these forums as it pertains to what players supposedly SHOULD be doing. I think since OW2 released there’s a large quantity of people who put 50 hours into the game and think they know everything and are perplexed why they are still in plat instead of their rightful place among the top 500, and since everyone’s a clout chaser these days and looking to make a name for themselves, their bad takes are spreading out to Tik Tok as well.
Flats is pretty cringe, not gonna lie. I wish him all the best, hope he improves his mental and physical health someday.
But his personality is pretty hard to watch. He plays the “wholesome streamer” bit when it suits him, then insults anyone who disagrees with him on balance and craps on low rank players.
He was my first Overwatch Streamer I watched regularly. I’m glad I stopped.
The OW forums hate CC, because they have more influence than the complete forum and mostly because they know the game better. Dont post things like this or otherwise you get stuff like this here:

I merely DISLIKE Flats. But it’s okay that OP disagrees.
I mean they have good reason to hate some of them, aside from the reasons you gave, which are barely even correct, and just used to invalidate the many valid reasons why flats or other CCs are unpleasant.
I’ll remember that next time I see their completely objective reasoning as to how [Hero that shut down their killstreak/ult] is only played by boosted one-tricks too stupid to play the game properly (brought to you by their 7th Bronze/UR-to-GM stream) and should be nerfed into the ground.
Or them saying supports don’t deserve to have fun because of how “OP” they were in OW1 before immediately turning around and asking why their queue times are so bad.
React content is garbage no matter who it’s from. May as well circle something for no reason and have big red arrows in the thumbnail to go with the stupid look on his face.
Only “insulting” I’ve seen from him is towards comments/posters of them which he feels don’t know what they’re talking about and are spreading misinfo based on his own experience in the ranks he’s been in with his tons of playtime. Just because he might get a bit snide and dismissive with the comments with the “Dear god I can’t take this s##t anymore” attitude makes no difference to me and is pretty relatable anyway.
Yet here you are engaging in a medium, this forum, which is itself pure react content. You post something looking for reactions, people react. The difference is what’s the reaction? Is it just some idiotic “HUR DUR THAT’S SO CRINGE BRO OMG DID U SEE THAT GUYS?!?!” from some kid or is the reaction someone’s valued opinion which is what Flats’ content is.
It’s entirely possible that’s how he feels. But from videos and streams I’ve watched, he could get really nasty to people who keep him alive. There were plenty of times where someone would say he was wrong on an issue like Rein balance.
And he would start a little “Do you know how dumb that is?” speech.
Commenting is a reaction. It’s not a video, but it’s a reaction. A discussion is a series of reactions. Having it all here on display is content. Makes no difference whether it’s written or a video.
