I’m not referring to it’s in game use. I’m referring to it being on the character. Why would a cowboy use a flashbang? Wouldn’t something like pocket sand be more fitting?
A flashbang is the pocket sand of the F U T U R E.
Maybe it’s a flash of sand that bursts in their face.
Dale Gribble would be proud.
This is what he should have had instead.
I was waiting for this to show up lol
Its just pocketsand + a tiny bit of dynamite.
Moreso, why does Flashbang stun? Why doesn’t it just flash and slow.
Why does McCree dress up as a cowboy? People make fun of him for it. He has no need to dress up like that. He has better clothes and it just makes him easily identifiable, which is bad for him considering he’s a vigilante. Some things in the game aren’t there for logic, but for aesthetic and design
Because he was part of a bikie gang…?
That’s fair, but we can assume he’s had no association with them for at least a decade by now.
Anyways, my point was that some things in the game’s design are for fun, not logic
McCree didn’t invent stun in an FPS game, nor did Brigitte. That honor goes to the Team Fortress 2 Scout when equipped with the sandman. If you don’t know, it’s a bat that allowed you to throw a ball and stun people and the further the distance, the long the stun. However this costed double jumping until sometime when they removed losing double jumping and they even removed the stun.
Why wouldn’t a cowboy use a flashbang?
All’s a man really needs out here in th’ wild west is one of them there six shooters, Souls’ roll, a flash bang and a stogie.
Well the reason they removed it was because it had no place in TF2.
Valve: Hey, having all of your abilities to fight back disabled is pretty dumb and no one likes it, especially when it combo’s into a near insta-gib (Flying Guillotine). Maybe it’s a bad mechanic to have in a fast-paced FPS where movement and skill take center stage.
Blizzard: Hey what if we gave a hero an unblockable hard-stun that combos into 155 free damage every 5 seconds lol.
CUZ’ HES A FREAKING COWBOY
lets replace it with the csgo flashbang
…sure that works.
If you have ever seen a flashbang in action it’s extraordinarily loud and bright and in a word, stunning.
You’re blind and deafened at the same time and your natural instinct is to freeze
Neither makes sense. A pocket of sand or a flashbang is supposed to blind you. McCree’s victims can see fine, but they’re not allowed to do anything. That’s more like paralysis. So for an appropriate theme for a cowboy, McCree should be throwing snake oil.
