But you only need a good Widow to counter an entire team. It’s not fair, fun, or game balance to make a team dive for 1 counterplay.
I’d rather lose against a team without Widow than win against a team with one. This is like Brig before the 17 consecutive nerfs, except with too much favoritism for even 1 nerf.

She can dominate entire matches unless your entire team coordinates to harass her.
And then we say dive her with tank, and then you say but she’s pocketed, and then we say that’s not just a Widow dominanting by herself now is it?
Congrats your team just lost its frontline unless its a full dive comp and there is effectively no backline.
You’re right, dive tanks are useless because any time they dive anything that isn’t the tank, they’re throwing

Lets buff genji or other flankers to the moon, Give genji 150 dmg on dash to deal with widow 
no need for invis cheese sombra. Give some1 else Thanos power to deal with 1 hero
30 dmg shurikens on genji will suffice what dive needs is a strong dps to go in with tracer.
Sombra was weak before this rework she was good against isolated targets but not against anything coordinated or getting peels even in dive she always lacks the staying power that a tracer genji echo have.
Sombra was never nerfed cos she was OP or whatever. Its ONLY trash gameplay with her in it. Rework fixed that to a degree.
Im so incredibly SICK of ppl mentioning sombra every single time widow is mentioned. ITS NOT UP TO SOMBRA TO FIX EVERYTHING.

Supports are already weak enough against dive, it would be immeasurably less collateral if we just increased charge time to increase dependency on headshots/accuracy.
I think that the biggest cope ever is that ‘‘we must nerf dive to counter Widow’’ as if Widow didnt join Dive the moment it becomes meta.

Learn your sight lines and don’t cross open areas if you don’t know where the widow is. It’s not really that hard to minimize her value to a standard DPS. It’s like someone complaining that junkrat is too powerful in a choke or a closed room. Just don’t play into the DPS strengths and you will have much better results.
Been telling everyone this. One shot characters or even weapons don’t deserve to be in any game.
One of the reasons why I don’t play CoD or Valorant because of that.
Seriously, I just want her One shot gone & let her get two new abilities plus longer hook & more damage on unscoped cause it’s ridiculous seeing her in EVERY GAME.
