Fix your suspension system. This is ridiculous

This game is becoming unbearable to play.
Every few weeks I get a chat ban without even a reason as to what I did wrong.
Then I get suspended.

I just got a two week suspension without a single reason as to why, not even an email.
At this point I’m hardly even typing in chat and I only play with my friends so I’m not in voice chat.

I have played this game since the OW1 beta and during all of OW1 never ONCE received as much as a chat ban, let alone a full on suspension.

I have received like 3-4 bans in the last 5 or 6 months alone dude.
FIX THIS. I have so much money invested in this account that I’m honestly just done giving y’all any more money since you can’t seem to bother moderating this game right.

Absolutely atrocious system and you should be ashamed of yourselves.

Just remove all social aspect of this game at once its not even worth it.

It might be best for you to turn off comms for a while and ride it out. I’ve honestly felt so much better turning it all off.

At this point its literally what I’m about to do when I’m able to get back on in 2 WEEKS.
The state of Blizzard gaming is just removing the social aspect from a multiplayer game.
Honestly mad at myself for buying the new reaper skin the other day.

All they care about is money. They constantly prove to everyone they don’t bother caring about the actual state of the game, or the rampant abuse of this broken reporting system that ruins the game for countless people.

Its quite simple, if you are being chat banned you are being toxic no two ways about it.

I am never toxic, always positive & i have never even been warned.

What do you reckon you did that got you reported?

One ban might be chalked up to a salty mass report by a premade.

3-4 bans in the last 6 months: something is up. Now, no one here can say for sure what is going on here, but that’s a lotta bans and suspensions to be catching in such a short period.

Did you contact CS, open a ticket and ask them for chat logs? Might clear things up a bit.

You simply aren’t talkative enough. I’ve been experiencing the same issues as OP despite not being toxic. I similarly have a high amount of time and money dumped into this account, and never once did I ever have my account actioned in OW1 or OW2 until they changed something about how reports and auto-silencing/suspending works. It’s getting insane, Blizzard needs to fix this so its players can actually play the game.

Turn off chat… Simples

i turned off chat and do not use it.

The whole system is automated, so just steer clear of it.

Do you constantly spam voice lines at people? I can’t begin to tell you how absolutely annoying and toxic that is, especially when the only way to make it stop is for someone to stop playing, open the player menu, right click your name, and squelch you.

May as well also report if we’re taking time out to squelch, know what I mean?

Yeah. Honestly, everyone should just be banned and then we won’t have to worry about hearing those dreaded voice lines. It’s really the only logical conclusion.

There’s nothing wrong with a voice line here or there. It’s when someone won’t stop pressing the key over and over again the instant that the cooldown is over, 10 or 15 times in a row.

They can only do it 4 times. Then the cooldown kicks in. Only time they can spam away is in spawn.

So you’re talking about something that was a thing several months ago. Even at that, calling it “toxic” is a stretch. And that’s the problem, more and more things are considered “toxic” and everyone wants it reported or banned. Keep going through the looking glass and you’re not gonna like what you find on the other side.

Sounds like someone’s been banned for spamming voice lines in the past…

I’m glad Blizzard is doing something against the toxicity. Whenever i’m losing there’s always few guys getting toxic and blaming some one for low performance.

I think the problem is you just lack communication skills and self awareness and say something that make other upset. I always communicate and use the chat/vc and never got suspended or muted on OW2.

You can’t just be a prick and tell people to not be sensitive because it’s the Internet. You are a guest in some one els game and you need to behave.

What an odd conclusion to draw. I haven’t. In fact, I can’t say I know anyone that has.

Here’s another angle. I think a 3 stack that’s focusing on themselves and not me and the other solo is toxic. Time to report.

I think people playing a hero into a bad matchup is toxic. Time to report.

I think using a skin that cost 30 dollars is distracting and therefore toxic. Time to report.

If it’s toxic to me that’s all that matters, right, Leshrak? Where do you draw the line?

Your slippery slope fallacy precedes you, I see.

Oh it’s a fallacy. Sure, I’ll play along, in what way?

If you can’t understand the difference between repeatedly forcing your voice line spam on the other players in the game’s speakers over a period of time and the ridiculous, obviously not-toxic slippery slope suggestions that you made as “whatabouts”, then it’s clear to me that you aren’t speaking from a position of good faith.

I’m not surprised by the cop out answer, but I am disappointed.
