how is this fair in any way shape or form i blade i slash 4 people no dmg
slash lucio no dmg slash moira still no dmg then my blade goes to the trash bin because of no regs how am i suppose to climb while my abilities are rendered useless by the netcode

a tracer didnt take dmg from my dash

triple shurikens also didnt do any damage a few times

atleast fix the netcode so people that dont live in the uk can climb

the best ping i get is around 90 (usually 100 - 120) and half my hits sometimes dont even register even then i managed to climb to plat but its not easy while you cant possibly do damage because of the netcode

Well your ping is certainly not the best, but i agree. Being in a similar spot (70-80 ms) i gotta say i get a ton of no regs as well. Especially with genji, or at least its more apparent when i play as Genji.

Sad thing is, its very doubtful a server upgrade or some kind of fix is going to be deployed

Where are you?

NZ isn’t great for connection to Australia, but we don’t get that bad - so you are not in the usual place for this.

from turkey the closest server to me is the uk server

when i try to connect to the american servers or the asian ones i get 300+ ping

Maybe that match was a dream, or you were just very unlucky.

I found Overwatch to be one of the best performing games I’ve ever seen.

Damn, that is rough.

The best you could do I guess is pick up hitscan, because it registers the hit on the client.

even our ana was suprised how they were still at full hp after i slashed them

Wait that’s not right.
If it was a ping/lag related problem your Ana should have seen you slash the absolutely nothing 8 meters away from the enemies.

You might just be blading wrong, I used to swing blade like a Rein hammer and I’d never hit anything. Although I do agree that there’s a ton of no-reg on projectile heroes.

Sounds to me like it’s not the netcode. More like you’re terrible internet connection.

It’s not fair, but if this game was done well, people with potato internet would be left behind.

Lazy netcode with bad fixes like “favour the shooter” was them trying to include everyone

Play any number of actual competitive shooters and you will see how wrong you are

Go play Quake 2 3 or 4, then come back to Overwatch and say that.

The game has a load of built in input lag. Search YouTube for best ow settings to reduce input lag it makes a big difference.
