Wow that is a joke, was it always like that or was it a recent buff, cause if its recent then what are Blizzard doing.

It has always been like that. Literally since day 1. People just like to take whatever hero is meta and find a way to complain about them. It’s pretty easy to exaggerate how impactful something seems when you can carefully setup your environment in the practice range.

Ok even if its always been like that still what on earth is Blizzard doing.

This really isn’t all that abnormal. Most video games tend to have very large hitboxes and collision boxes. They’re generally tuned in a way that makes sense for the gameplay, but when you actually sit down and carefully measure it in an isolated environment it will look broken.

Or you can just get good and stop running directly at him.

Didn’t you also claim to be Jaeger, the notoriously salty Genji main who whines when anything can kill him?

5 meters isn’t that big, it’s just in a 360 space, if it was only horizontal or vertical, it’d be next to useless.

Shall I point to Roadhog’s 20 meter hook that literally can still hook you through walls?

No. Is not true. On day 1 mccree cc was very Bad against tracer, genji ir any flanker.

He was out sniping snipers as well, so his actual group he was supposed to counter, he wasn’t countering, and who counters him, was being countered by him.

Day 1 Cree was pretty scary for that.

Flashbangs throw distance and size have never been changed since launch day. I’m not sure about during the beta, but that doesn’t really count if it did.

The issue people have with flashbang is that it can be extended through roll (And with this meta, boosted by Lucio’s speed boost) So 5 meters turns more into like 13-15m when you roll into it.

Which actually is dumb to do unless you’re trying to kill a tank, if you’re wasting roll to flash a squishy, you are playing dumb as Cree.

Throw distance or diameter? IIRC it’s a 6m diameter.

Both jank IMO.

Sure, but it doesn’t change the fact that he’s been able to do that since day 1. Sure roll got buffed by a tiny amount not too long ago, but that’s hardly something that pushed that combo over the top.

im so tired of that argument

the game and balance hasnt been the same since day 1

He’s not OP by any means, he’s just having his kit boosted by the meta.

Lucio boosts him in, while boosting Rein in, so he’s protected while doing what he does best.

Very much so.

McCree is more balanced today than he was at launch, he’s literally the meta hated hero this time around.

As soon as meta shifts or Cree is nerfed, people will just complain about another one until it’s nerfed or meta changes. It’s a never ending cycle of complaints that leave the game less balanced.

im saying having that AND the 225 HP AND FTH AND strong during poke phase is way too much in such a simple character

HOW IS HIS KIT BOOSTED BY META, THE META IS BRAWL, MCCREE HAS NEVER BEEN BRAWL LOL, brawl heroes are heroes like mei reaper doom, cree is a poke hero

“wasting a 6 second cooldown to kill a squishie” u have a free kill + any value you get after that point, even just getting a trade is decent value, for free, and 6 seconds is extremely negligible

Man, imagine posting a synthetic scenario that won’t happen in a real game, because if the tracer moved sideways he’d miss the fb radius.

Also imagine (if a certain poster is telling the truth) a genji player being mad that Flashbang is fx accurate when your hero does this:

How do I deflect that…

How.

HOW?! :sob:

how is it a synthetic scenario??? its literally just showing how big flashbangs radius is???

tracer is now the only hero in the game, flashbang has no effect on any other heroes that dont have the same level or type of mobility as tracer

It’s a synthetic scenario because going for the edge of the FB radius can cause you to miss for one step that deviates you from the center (horizontal) of the throw , plus no one in overwatch stands completely still.

Again, are you a Genji player per chance?
